The Dance of Relationships:
Leading vs. Control
Following vs. Collapse

for individuals, partners & friends
[most people attend as individuals]

Partner dancing gives us an excellent opportunity to practice healthy and empowered relationships.

In this experiential workshop we'll use movement,  touch and  partner dancing as a metaphor for life & relationships.

Because we'll be moving our bodies while connecting with another, the lessons we learn will be grounded in our body and heart as well as our head.

We'll gain insights and experiences that can help us more easily & effectively lead, follow and maintain rapport in all parts of our lives and in all types of relationships.

This experiential workshop will be taught using WholeBody Learning. In addition to learning concepts in your mental body you'll also experience them in your physical and emotional bodies.  Thus, you'll be better able to fully embody your newfound power & freedom.

NO PARTNER NECESSARY

You can come by yourself, with a friend or with that special someone. Most participants come by themselves.

You'll have the opportunity to experience a number of paired exercises with a variety of partners.

No Dance Experience Necessary

The focus of this workshop is on gaining personal insights while learning (and really integrating in your body) life and relationship lessons and skills.

So while the workshop will improve your ability to dance, no matter your present skill level that's not the focus nor primary purpose of the workshop.

As in all WholeBody Wisdom events, attendees must be at least 18 years of age.

Testimonials

Thanks for the fun time last night. It was a great way to learn life lessons. G_R_E_A_T !!

Francis Borchers, Life Coach

I think all men and women should take this class, they will be better dancers, friends, lovers, partners, and even team players at work if they adhere to the principles taught in the class.

Margie Halladin, Personal Coach

It's the best way to learn how to lead/follow that I know of.

Christopher Shireman, Software Developer

I finally got what it is to truly follow. You're amazing.

Linda Winfrey, Manager of Technology Managers

I love to watch the play and rapport between people who are really in tune with each other — and to receive specific instruction on how to establish that very thing was exciting and fun.

Jennisara Wallenberg, Medical Secretary

The most challenging for me was recognizing, thru dance, where I tend to collapse or how I  am not always clearly communicating what it is I need or want.

Jodi Korpi

I really learned (and got in my body) about a follower having the responsibility of setting limits instead of just waiting for what the leader does!

Equals for me how I, as a woman, give my power away without even realizing it.  About putting energy into the other person having the best experience they could have.  Helpful both for dancing and for life.  What a concept!

Dot Spaet, project manager
