We're Not for Everyone

Or, what we mean by "advanced practice"

This is where we try and scare you away.

Really.

This work is not for everyone.

First of all, we're much, much more interested in going deep than in getting big. We only want to attract those that are ready to dive deep and do the work of integration and transformation.

In fact, we don't believe that we've done our job unless most of the people that read our workshop descriptions think:  "Wow ... no way is that event for me."

This work isn't about fixing anything — for there's nothing to "fix."
And, it's not about being cautious or tentative.

It's about facing your fear and discomfort ... in order to find your true essence, and share it the world.

WholeBody Wisdom workshops are explicitly
"advanced practice" events.

To be ready to do "advanced practice" does not necessarily require that you have done lots of previous training — or any training at all, for that matter.

Sometimes, people who've spent their life immersed in the dogma of mainstream therapeutic or healing work are the least prepared to let go and do third-stage growth work.

Nor does it mean that you've mastered your life — or, that you don't have habits or personality "knots" that are getting in your way.

In fact, having large challenges (some call these "failures" — we see them as opportunities)  often means that now you're really motivated to do the work that will enable you to get out of your own way, to access, and share your deepest gifts.

So what does it mean to be ready to do advanced practice?

It means that you're ready and willing to prioritize
connection, wholebodied communication, and personal growth
over comfort, conformity, and the illusion of safety.

"The purpose of life is not to fight against evil and misfortune;
it is to unveil magnificence."
-- Alan Cohen

We're here to help you unveil your magnificence — but you'll probably have to rip off a few band-aids along the way ...

  • We're in the middle of giving the web site a long overdue revamp. This has caused a number of links to break and some links still go to the old pages. This will be resolved soon — but please bear with us as we fully transition to the new design. Thanks!
